Ritter Farms in Cle Elum- Matt & Lauren- Artistic Wedding Photography

These two might be the sweetest couple I’ve ever photographed. I absolutely loved shooting this wedding at Ritter Farms in Cle Elum, Washington. We worried for weeks that the hot weather (90 degrees and above) would continue, but a turn of the clouds and some cooler temps were so welcomed and made a pretty pleasant day to get married. Ritter Farms was a perfect location for Matt and Lauren, and showed their love for the mountains and nature. Both love hiking and the outdoors. Instead of the traditional cake cutting, they fed each other donuts. The smell of the icing was so intoxicating, I found myself finding more reasons to pass the cake table…I’m a sucker for a good apple fritter 🙂 Both Matt and Lauren, not only had amazing dance moves on their first dance, but showed them off again during their parent dances. WOW, talent runs in both families, for sure. Everything from Frank Sinatra to Michael Jackson, the dance floor was always flooded with dancers busting a move to Matt’s killer playlist he made especially for the event. One detail I (and many guests) appreciated was the fact that that their slideshow was running throughout the entire cocktail hour and dinner, instead of only running once before the toasts like many other weddings I’ve seen. I feel like this allows your guests enjoy it and it helps your vendors by giving more time in the reception for other events. My assistant, Chelsea Moudry, has a couple photos included.
