16 days until my due date for Baby Haberman and I’m regretfully on bed rest until his arrival. But…. on the positive side, I’m finally updating my blog and finishing up some much needed photography chores before the newborn chaos begins. I will show photos of the nursery in a future post, but I do want to show off my remodeled photography office first. I wanted a clean, organized space to bring my photography clients without baby toys, spit up rags, and little boy’s mess. I found the chair at good will, still needs a little tlc, but it’s super comfy. The desk, white wicker chairs, media console, and shelving units are all purchased from Ikea.
The media console was by far my favorite purchase. The open back creates the perfect hiding spot for a power strip, wireless units, and charging cords.
I wanted to have a gallery wall for showcasing new products without putting giant holes in my new walls. The floating shelves were really easy to install, not as cheap as I would have wanted. Of course, after I bought the floating gallery shelves, I found a great diy option on pinterest, you’re welcome.
This is an expedit shelving unit from Ikea, but also my packaging station. The multicolored totes are from 31 bags and hold all my essentials for those cute packages my discs come with. I also keep my lenses and camera bags here as well.
Thanks for stopping by and taking a virtual tour of my office. Hope you can stop by for real next time and sit in my comfy wicker chairs, have some coffee, and talk about some photography!
