Baby Girl Turns One | Dylan | Ellensburg Lifestyle Family Photographer

Oh sweet Dylan!!  I think one year olds are my favorite….ok I really have a hard time with that statement because every session is so different and fun I can never pick one kind of favorite.  All my boys have been so fun as one year olds.  It’s the magic time when you’re baby is so busy exploring their surroundings and happily busy, yet still more predictable than your toddler ages.  Dylan was a little hard to crack open at the beginning, but I finally got some sweet smiles and giggles from this little sweetie, with the help of her beautiful older sis and parents.  I just love when I get to photograph families snuggling, playing, giggling and loving on each other.  As you can see from the slideshow below, I do gentle posing to get my families into these photos and occasionally have them smile at the camera.  But the majority of my sessions are genuine emotions and love captured when families interact with each other.  I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I did shooting it 🙂

Country Wedding in the Woods | Jeremy & Alexa | Cle Elum Photographer

Tucked into the woods, on a dock next to a beautiful pond, surrounded by close friends and family, these two wonderful people exchanged their vows and became man and wife. This new venue at Elk Haven Equestrian Center has the perfect mix of rustic country and  PNW woods.  Alexa looked absolutely stunning in her vintage lace sweetheart dress with fringe wedges, Ellensburg Blue and turquoise jewelry. This wedding had so much depth and texture to all her details, just as their engagement session from this fall.   Vintage lanterns, spiky succulents, river rock accents throughout the reception, set in grove of trees lit with white lights and golden sunlight peaking in on their guests.   It was a joy to photograph and be a part of this beautiful day. Baby Kobe | Alex & Connor | Ellensburg Lifestyle Newborn Photographer

Baby Kobe has been on my mind since this winter when we photographed his mama’s tiny little bump for Christmas cards, and we’ve all been so excited for his arrival.  This little family has such a soft place in my heart as I’ve been honored to photograph their first pregnancy, big brother’s newborn session, and family maternity session this spring.   Watching these families grow and blossom is truly a joy and I have to pinch myself that I get to do what I do.  I love photographing families love each other, especially at home.  This precious time when new babies are brought home is so short and so sweet that all those little details are sometimes hard to remember between each baby, sleep deprivation, and the bustle of juggling kids and all the things.  I’m so humbled and touched that these wonderful people let me into their lives and capture these tender moments with their families, I hope you feel all the love in the photos.
