Little Lane has the best smile!  Watching my wonderful friend enjoy motherhood and fall in love with her little boy has been so incredibly heartwarming and joyful for me this year.  I remember her bringing over brownies and holding my baby boy in her last months of pregnancy and I just knew this little boy of hers would have the most love and warmth from his amazing parents.  Thanks for stopping by! Rachel’s Baby Bump | Ellensburg Maternity & Family Photographer

Baby #2 for this adorable family due this fall!  I just love capturing these little toddlers with their parents during maternity sessions.  Second pregnancies are so different from the previous pregnancies and I just love all the details, click see their first maternity and newborn session.  First pregnancy, you hear things like “18 weeks today, baby is the size of a artichoke….”  Second pregnancy, you hear things like “Well, I think I’m 4 months?? I don’t know, I feel huge already”…  Well..maybe that was just me, beautiful Rachel is rocking her second pregnancy and chasing her toddler way better than I did. Rachel’s Baby Bump | Documenting your pregnancy is a great way to share these moments with your son or daughter in the future. The ideal time to photograph your baby bump is between 28-34 weeks pregnant. I like to allow several weeks before your due date so your belly is round, but you are not uncomfortable yet. I have worked with many pregnant mothers and my job will be to keep you as comfortable as possible. I specialize in outdoor maternity portraits and encourage my couples to incorporate their lifestyle and interests. I like exploring new locations and want these photos to show your couples/family style and tell your story. Let’s shoot at your family farm, bring your fur-babies, baby’s first shoes, etc. All these little details are so personal and unique to your story and I want to capture it all.

Baby Ryder | Ellensburg Lifestyle Newborn Photographer

Baby Ryder looked so sweet nestled in his mama’s arms in the this session, I might have taken way too many photos of just that….but sorry…not sorry.  The second baby in the family always holds a special place in my heart as each baby’s arrival into a family brings different emotions than the one before.  Of course, each baby is different, but when it’s your second baby the rawness of new motherhood has softened and you enjoy each stage of baby different than the first.  The sweetness of their smells, the heaving breaths they take while they’re sleeping, the way they just fit into your chest and melt…..Mamas…you know what I mean.  This is the feeling I strive to capture at these sessions especially.  I got to cuddle this sweet babe while his mama showered and got ready….YES PEOPLE…that’s the beauty of having a session at your home.  I also got to play horses and read big sister’s favorite book and catch up with my beautiful fellow mama and friend Kylie. She is just so amazingly beautiful, this mama, see her maternity session here…  Sometimes I have to pinch myself that I get to be this lucky that my people let me into their lives and capture these beautiful moments.  Thanks for stopping by, Enjoy!
