Baby Levi | Danny & Ryder| Ellensburg Lifestyle Newborn Photographer

Baby Levi was so sweet as he snuggled with his brother and parents in this lifestyle newborn session a few weeks ago.  I felt like I hogged him a little because I just wanted to hold and snuggle him so much.  But this house though….omg….a dream to photograph. The rich wood textures, huge windows….and soooo cozy.  One thing I love about my lifestyle newborn sessions, is the personal story of each family I get to tell and a family’s home has a huge part of that.  A family is also much more comfortable in their own home and the baby can sense that.  The other reason I love lifestyle newborn sessions is they are much more relaxed.  It doesn’t matter if baby falls asleep or stays awake, the focus is the family.  I much as I loved molding sleepy babies in my studio, I have a new love of my lifestyle sessions and I’m so honored my amazing clients made the leap with me.  Hope you enjoy Baby Levi and family!  Thanks for stopping by!  To see a slideshow preview of the entire session, scroll to the end of the blogpost….

Vitou Baby on the Way | Ellensburg Maternity Photographer

I got to meet and photograph the Vitou family while visiting family here in Cle Elum a few weeks ago.  This little man is going to be such a great big brother and watching him snuggle into his mom and dad was so precious. A maternity session at this stage in life is not only about capturing a baby bump, but preserving your family in that state of change.  It’s also the last time you’ll have photographs of your family with only one child. The family transition between 1 to 2 children was huge for our family.  It’s a bittersweet feeling of peace for the way your family is now and anxious about how it will change.  I remember holding my oldest, a toddler at the time, over my pregnant belly, feeling guilty that he would now have to share my time and attention with a new baby.   In reality, once my second was born my oldest was head over heels in love with him and so happy to be a big brother.  But I’ll never forget those few months right before a new baby is born and the sweet snuggles and excitement for a new baby in the family.  Hope you enjoy these sweet moments captured with the Vitou family!  Thanks for stopping by!
