Getting to celebrate and document Josh and Lacey’s beautiful wedding day this fall was absolutely lovely. Being a wedding photographer for almost a decade (yikes! that makes me feel old) has given me some important insight as to what kind of couples I know I will click with (haha, pun intended) . From the moment I sat down with Lacey at our first meeting, we started talking about horses and animals and I knew we were going to have tons in common and tons to talk about. Getting to know them both at their engagement session and meeting all their fur-babies,(we’re talking dogs, horses, chickens, and more) just further sealed my admiration for this couple. Her friendly and down to earth personality, not only matches her wonderful husband, but radiated throughout their entire wedding. When I arrived on the wedding day to find a cabin full of beautiful girls rocking out to country music and setting out their cowboy boots to be photographed, I knew I was in for a fun day. Rustic country weddings are my favorite to photograph! The bridesmaids had crochet overlay dresses and Lacey’s stunning backless gown had gorgeous lace details. And her gorgeous vintage lace veil made her look so classically elegant at this beautiful country wedding. With vintage milk cans, buckets of baby’s breath, mason jars, barn wood and burlap details throughout, this wedding was rustic and beautiful from beginning to end. Josh and Lacey, thank you for allowing me to capture your day!! I had a great time and I’m so thankful to be chosen to celebrate and capture your amazing day.
