I just loved photographing the Thomas Family this year at their home. Even though we all got mildly rained on, we still managed some great smiles and genuine moments captured. Just love all these wonderful families I get to capture through the years. These amazing people have stuck with me since the beginning, even the selective color, over editing and over posed years 🙂 and thankfully still let me photograph them. Part of being a creative is pushing yourself to new heights and taking risks. My photography has changed drastically over the years. The lifestyle and genuine emotion goals were always there, but I think pushing away the traditional and fine tuning my style have truly enriched my portfolio only in the past 5 years and hopefully will continue to change and strive for better. Being a mother has been a huge part of my photography journey and enriched my life. The photographs I treasure the most are not gigantic smiles or looking at the camera, but the moments I want to freeze forever, when kids laugh together or race each other, or play together.
