I had the best time shooting with Jennie and Wesley over the years. First their engagement session and now their maternity session this winter. I just love photographing expecting parents and sharing in their anticipation for a new baby.  You can tell Jennie & Wesley have a very deep connection with each other and already share one with the little bundle waiting to make an appearance.

I always have felt like winter and pregnancy are very similar seasons within life.  Maybe it’s because I’ve been pregnant for the last 3 out of 5 winters, but it feels like a time of hibernation before the coming of a blooming spring.  Nesting, resting, and staying cozy with your loved ones.  Whether it’s savoring the last times it’ll only be 2 of you, or giving your kiddos extra cuddles knowing that everything will change in the coming of a new family member, winter and pregnancy (at least in this portion of my life) are like yin and yang 🙂 Here are a few favorite photos from this adorable session, enjoy!
